RESONANCE
Resonance is an ongoing series of collage paintings and x-ray prints. The x-ray prints show large sea shells and tuning forks scanned together in an x-ray machine. The work explores the resonance of the ocean sound that one hears when they place a sea shell up to the ear and the resonance of musical notes that tuning forks make when struck.

THE MAKING OF RESONANCE
For this series I collaborated with an x-ray technician at a small hospital in Puebla, Mexico. Here are a few images that show how we positioned the shells and the tuning forks to create the artworks.
