The performance Drop of Sun was recorded at the beach in Chelem, Mexico at midnight in 2014. The video records the simple act of lighting a chair seat on fire in front of a circular mirror held up by a spit of sand at the shoreline. Waves lap at the foot of the mirror fracturing it when the hot glass is touched by the tepid water.
